Y.Gee. Mahendra’s new play is a sequel to Sivaji Ganesan’s popular film Paritchaikku Neramachu

The film Paritchaikku Neramachu, ended in a devastating tragedy. Varadu Kutty, the lovable duffer who is Sivaji’s biological son, dies in a road accident, and so does his foster son, Anand. UAA’s play Varadu Kutty- Paritchaikku Neramachu 2 (story -G. Radhakrishnan; core idea- Sureshwar; direction- Y.Gee. Mahendra) picks up where the film left off.

Y.Gee. Mahendra reprises the role of Varadu Kutty, which he played in the film. Varadu’s agitated soul hasn’t left the earth, as he died before fulfilling his father’s ambition of seeing his son pass the Public Service examination. So, Varadu’s spirit now wants to help a mediocre student do well in his board exams.
