NEW DELHI: A bomb threat was received by a school in Dwarka Sector-7 via email on Friday morning. The Delhi Fire Service received the information at 7am, and police and fire teams are currently at the spot, news agency ANI reported.The fresh threat comes a day after five institutions, including BGS International Public School in Dwarka Sector-5, reported receiving bomb threats on Thursday morning.
This is the fourth such incident in the past five days where schools in the city have been targeted with bomb threat emails, triggering panic among students and parents and creating chaos at the institutions.On Wednesday, more than 60 schools in the capital received near-identical hoax threats that forced emergency evacuations and widespread security checks.Earlier, on Monday, similar threats were sent to around 32 schools, which were later confirmed to be hoaxes.(With agency inputs)
