Actor Suriya’s much-awaited family drama Vishwanath & Sons has locked its release date. The Venky Atluri directorial is touted to be a family drama and is produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya.
The movie is billed as a “wholesome entertainer packed with emotions, humour and heartwarming family moments.” With Premalu fame Mamitha Baiju playing the female lead, Vishwanath & Sons will hit the screens on August 14, 2026.
The first look posters featuring Suriya alongside a child brought back the actor’s vintage charm and instantly connected with family audiences. Atluri is back to direction after his blockbuster, Lucky Baskhar starring Dulquer Salmaan.

Radhika Sarathkumar and Raveena Tandon also play key roles in the movie. G V Prakash has composed the music while Nimish Ravi is the cinematographer. Naveen Nooli is the editor and Banglan has handled the production design of the film.
The film will be distributed in Tamil Nadu by Think Studios. Suriya was last seen in Karuppu, directed by RJ Balaji. Also starring Trisha, the film has turned out to be one of the biggest Tamil blockbusters of the year yet.
