Pune: The Pune traffic police have initiated an action against vehicles parked along roadsides and left unattended for a long time. The police have started serving notices to owners of such vehicles or started pasting notices on the parked vehicles if the owner is not known. “If such a vehicle is not removed within 24 hours of issuing the notices, the police will seize those vehicles,” Deputy Commissioner of Police (traffic) Himmat Jadhav said.The DCP urged residents to share photos of abandoned vehicles through the PTP (Pune Traffic Police) app. “The police will immediately initiate action against such vehicles,” the DCP said.
