Kolhapur/Nashik: Some parts of Satara and Sangli districts on Friday evening experienced showers for around 10 to 15 minutes. The surprise rain, along with winds up to 30-40kmph, brought much-needed relief to residents from the scorching summer heat.According to the India Meteorological Department, Kolhapur, Satara, Sangli and Solapur districts have a yellow alert till Saturday. Isolated heavy rain with lightning and thunderstorms are expected in some parts of these districts.The IMD has forecast light rainfall in Nashik on Saturday.
