Netflix is officially taking KPop Demon Hunters from streaming screens to live arenas, announcing a worldwide concert tour inspired by the Oscar-winning animated phenomenon.

The streamer revealed the project during its Upfront presentation in New York, confirming a partnership with live entertainment giant AEG Presents for what it described as an immersive stage experience based on the film’s music and characters.
While specific tour dates and cities remain under wraps, Netflix said fans can already join a waitlist ahead of the full rollout later this year. The company teased that the production would recreate elements of the film “in spectacular ways,” though it has not yet confirmed whether vocal performers including EJAE, Audrey Nuna or Rei Ami will participate in the concerts.
Netflix advertising chief Amy Reinhard called the film a global cultural phenomenon during the announcement, pointing to viral singalongs, fan cosplay and even a reported spike in travel bookings to South Korea following the movie’s release.
Directed by Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans, KPop Demon Hunters follows fictional idol group Huntr/x, whose members secretly battle supernatural forces while maintaining their K-pop superstardom. The film exploded into a streaming sensation after debuting on Netflix in 2025, eventually becoming the platform’s most-watched English-language film ever with more than 325 million views in its first three months.

The soundtrack also became a major crossover success, helping the film secure multiple industry milestones, including Academy Awards recognition and historic wins tied to K-pop music globally. A sequel is already in development through Netflix and Sony Pictures Animation, with Kang and Appelhans returning as part of a broader creative deal with the streamer.
AEG Presents previously handled large-scale tours for acts including BLACKPINK, BTS and Tomorrow X Together, which suggests Netflix is aiming for an equally ambitious global rollout.
