Pune: An unknown youth stole a purse containing gold jewellery worth Rs8.95 lakh from a private bus passenger in the early hours of Nov 2, at Hadapsar. A 57-year-old woman from Solapur district lodged a complaint with the Hadapsar police. The woman was travelling to Pune to drop her granddaughter. When the bus halted at Hadapsar, the woman was heading towards a bathroom when the accused snatched her purse, police said. TNN
