The trailer of Bobby Deol’s upcoming film, Bandar was unveiled by the makers on Thursday (May 21, 2026).
Written By Sudip Sharma and Abhishek Banerjee and directed by Anurag Kashyap, Bandar also stars Sanya Malhotra, Indrajith Sukumaran, Saba Azad, Jitendra Joshi, Raj B.Shetty, Sapna Pabbi, Ankush Gedam, Riddhi Sen, Nagesh Bhonsle in pivotal roles.
The trailer opens with Bobby’s Sameer Mehra, a fading star, getting roughly questioned by a cop in a police station. Then it is revealed that Sameer likes to get involved with younger girls as he is shown to be speaking with multiple girls at the same time. One of them, played by Sapna, accuses him of rape, and Sameer dismisses the allegations as fake when the cops come to arrest him. Sameer is imprisoned and faces difficulties living in the jail with a dozen other inmates, one of them played by Raj B. Shetty. The film promises to be a gritty drama, invoking the trademark darkly-comic style of Kashyap.
Bandar has music by Amit Trivedi, Vishal Mishra, Sapan Jagmohan, Payal Dev – Aditya Dev, Sickflip, Blurface and Shivahari Varma. It has been shot by Shaaz Rizvi and edited by Aarti Bajaj.
Produced by Nikhil Dwivedi’s Saffron Magicworks and backed by Zee Studios, the film will be released in cinemas worldwide on June 5.
