Yamaha to reduce two-wheeler prices with full GST benefit: Model-wise savings

India Yamaha Motor has confirmed that it will pass on the complete benefit of the recent GST revision on two-wheelers to customers across its portfolio. The revised prices will come into effect from September 22, 2025, making Yamaha bikes and scooters more affordable just in time for the festive season.

Yamaha motorcycle, scooter price cut: Model-wise price cuts

As per the new pricing, Yamaha’s popular models will see reductions ranging from nearly Rs 8,000 to over Rs 17,000. The flagship R15 now costs Rs 1,94,439, down from Rs 2,12,020, offering buyers a saving of Rs 17,581. The MT-15 has dropped by Rs 14,964, while the FZ-S Fi Hybrid and FZ-X Hybrid now come with benefits of Rs 12,031 and Rs 12,430 respectively. On the scooter side, the Aerox 155 Version S sees a cut of Rs 12,753, the Fascino by Rs 8,509, and the RayZR by Rs 7,759.

The move follows the Government of India’s decision to lower GST on two-wheelers, a reform expected to energize demand in the country’s second-largest automotive segment. Thanking the government for the step, Itaru Otani, Chairman of Yamaha Motor India Group, said, “This timely reduction will not only make two-wheelers more affordable for customers but also help stimulate overall consumption and bring positive momentum to the industry.
