Mumbai: An alert police constable saved a 53-year-old woman who jumped into the sea at Bandra Bandstand on Wednesday evening. The woman, a resident of Bandra (W), has been undergoing treatment for psychological issues for the last 20 years, police informed on Thursday.“Constable Sainath Devde was posted as a watcher at Galaxy Apartment, where actor Salman Khan resides. He was on patrolling duty at Bandstand promenade when he spotted the woman drowning in the sea.
