What about you? What’s your take on the “mixtape”?

As contemporaries of streaming platforms such as Spotify, Soundcloud and all that jazz, music is more intimate to us digitally and floats around unabashedly, in various release formats. First, there are the physical music release formats which include CDs, cassettes, vinyls, album packages, etc. and then there are the digital music release formats which include EPs (Extended Plays), singles, full-length albums, etc. Common to them both, is the mixtape.
