Pune: Water supply was affected in parts of Kothrud and Warje on Friday morning, causing inconvenience to residents as the disruption occurred a day after water cuts on Thursday. “The supply lines connecting Warje water works and Chandni Chowk water tank were damaged leading to disruption in supply. But the problem was solved by afternoon,” said a senior official of Pune Municipal Corporation’s water supply department. Sunil Kulkarni, a resident of Kothrud, said citizens were caught off guard as they were not aware of water disruption. “The administration should have a system of informing residents about disruption in supply. The situation was worrisome due to limited water because of the cuts on Thursday,” he said.
