Pune: A fabricator (55) from Warje suffered a fracture to his right hand when an autorickshaw driver twisted it during a fight after the three-wheeler grazed his car at Wadgaon Budruk on Wednesday afternoon.The fabricator was driving on the Prayeja City Road when the incident occurred. He approached the Sinhagad Road police on Thursday to lodge a complaint against the autorickshaw driver. The police registered a case under sections 115 and 118 (voluntarily causing grievous hurt) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.An officer from the Sinhagad Road police said the victim was driving on Wednesday afternoon, when an autorickshaw grazed against his car. “The autorickshaw driver got down, forced the victim to roll down the car’s window glass and abused him. The suspect also threatened to kill the victim,” the officer said.He said the complainant pacified the autorickshaw driver despite being abused, but the latter punched the victim. When the complainant took his hand out of the window to protect himself, the autorickshaw driver twisted it. “The complainant suffered a fracture to his right hand,” he said. The officer said the rickshaw driver was from the Narhe area. “We have issued him a notice,” the officer said.
