Why are the products recalled?The company has initiated the recall after it was discovered that the packaging for these cookies did not list the presence of allergens or certain food dyes. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with these products.The Italian Mixed Vanilla Cookies may have undeclared almonds, sesame, and artificial dyes such as Red 40, Red 3, and Blue 1. The Italian Sesame Cookies are recalled due to the presence of undeclared artificial dyes such as Yellow 5, Red 40, and Yellow 6. Vanilla Chocolate Dipped Cookies, Vanilla with Apricot Jam Cookies, Toasted Almond & Cherry Biscotti, and Vanilla Cookies with Raspberry Peach Jam may also contain undeclared artificial dyes.
