The festival was organised by the Bharatiya Paryatan Vikas Cooperative Society and jointly presented by Get Set Go Holidays and Sachin International.Sharing her personal experiences as a solo traveller, Mangeshkar said travelling alone strengthened her decision-making abilities and helped her overcome fear. “When you witness beautiful landscapes, monuments, or art, you connect with your own thoughts without external influence. This leads to clarity, confidence, and independent thinking,” she said.The festival highlighted India’s and Maharashtra’s diverse tourism heritage, offering insights into forts, historical monuments and lesser-known destinations. Nearly 70 domestic and international travel companies participated, presenting a wide range of travel options.Pravin Ghorpade said the event aimed to inspire travel enthusiasts and boost tourism in Maharashtra by introducing innovative experiences to Pune residents.The programme included knowledge sessions on the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra and jungle tourism, with a discussion on the future of corporate travel scheduled on Sunday.
