Bollywood music just got a puzzling twist on Instagram. A creative user is taking popular Hindi songs and turning them into a quirky guessing game for followers. The twist? Certain words in the lyrics are highlighted in bold red, and fans are challenged to “guess the disease” based purely on these cryptic clues.

There are no hints about symptoms, causes or effects. Only the red-marked words act as mysterious pointers. From romantic songs to foot-tapping numbers, each clip transforms familiar tunes into a fun, health-themed brain teaser, leaving Instagram users both entertained and scratching their heads.

One reel that’s grabbing the most attention features the 90s classic “Tip Tip Barsa Pani” from Mohra starring Akshay Kumar, Raveena Tandon, and Sunil Shetty. Words like “Tip Tip,” “Pani,” and “Aag” are highlighted in bold red. The combination of raindrops, water, and fire prompted a flood of guesses in the comments. Some suggested “UTI” or “urinary incontinence,” while others threw in creative answers like “cold”, “pneumonia”, or even “rabies”—the latter jokingly referencing hydrophobia, heartburn, and skin rash.

One of the clips grabbing the most attention features the iconic 90s Bollywood hit “Tip Tip Barsa Pani” from the Akshay Kumar-Raveena Tandon starrer Mohra. In this reel, the words “Tip Tip,” “Pani,” and “Aag” are all highlighted in bold red. Using just these clues, the creator has challenged followers to guess the disease being hinted at. The clever wordplay, which is mixing raindrops, water and fire, has sparked a flurry of wild guesses in the comments.

Most users guessed “UTI,” “urinary incontinence,” or “micturition.”

One user asked, “Why is no one saying cold (running nose)?”

Another chimed in with, “Why not pneumonia?”

One creative user suggested, “Maybe rabies, it makes you hydrophobic, gives heartburn and skin rash.”

Another crowd favourite in the post was the chartbuster “Dus Bahane Karke Le Gayi Dil” from the 2005 action thriller Dus. Here, the word “Dus” was highlighted in bold red not once, but four times. With no other hints to go by, followers were left to crack the mystery disease from this repeated red clue. The playful repetition set off a number of guesses, turning the comments section into a mini medical quiz.

Many users referenced the “Rule of 10″ in their guesses.

Some linked it to cleft lip. As per the rule, a cleft lip can be repaired in infants at 10 weeks of age, with a haemoglobin level of 10 gm%, an average weight of 10 pounds and a total leucocyte count of 10,000 cells/cc. Others applied the rule to “pheochromocytoma.” In 10% of patients the tumour is malignant, in 10% it is bilateral, in 10% extra-adrenal and in 10% familial.

Adding a funny twist, one user commented, “I looked at you, you looked at me… conjunctivitis.”

The fiery track “Beedi Jalaile” from the 2006 film Omkara also left fans guessing. Highlighted words included “Beedi,” “Jigar,” “Jigar Ma,” and “Aag.” References to smoking, the heart (jigar), and fire led to a number of witty medical guesses.

One user wrote, “Probably GERD. But jigar in Hindi means liver. So confused.”

Another explained, “GERD Bidi — smoking, jigar ma aag — heartburn (acidity). Acidity related to smoking is GERD.”

Adding a nostalgic twist, one user wrote, “GERD. Aah! Quite nostalgic to be hosting such events at my Medschool while simultaneously explaining the unknown concepts to my juniors haha.”

The mix of Bollywood nostalgia, wordplay and medical riddles has turned the clips into fun mini quizzes. Spanning songs from different years, these videos show that even hit Bollywood tracks can hide playful health lessons if you pay close attention.
