Mumbai: A 14-year-old boy jumped to his death from a Kandivli highrise on Wednesday, reportedly angry after being asked by his mother to go for tuitions. Police said the family lives on the 51st floor of the highrise but it’s not clear where he jumped from. An accidental death case has been recorded.The boy was a school student who lived with his mother, a Gujarati actor, in the highrise building on 90 Feet Road, Kandivli West. At around 6 pm, his mother asked him to go for tuitions for which he refused and went down to play. Later on, residents heard a loud thud and found the boy grievously injured. Police said he had likely jumped from a considerable height. His mother was looking for him when she was informed of the suicide.
