Mumbai: In a rare case, an FIR was registered after stones were thrown at the Metro One car shed in Andheri (E) on Tuesday. The Amboli police lodged a case against an unidentified individual after small stones, comparable to marble balls in size, were thrown onto the glass roof of the car shed. Workers inside the facility remained unharmed.The event took place at 1.10 pm while workers were servicing Metro trains inside the shed. “The team is gathering details with the help of closed circuit television (CCTV) in which they have found someone on a building terrace throwing something…,” said a police officer.Workers at the car shed alerted the Metro Control room at 1.45 pm. A security officer dispatched to probe the damage and assess the situation noted in the complaint: “…It is suspected the stone was hurled from a neighbouring building…”
