Mumbai: BMC on Tuesday told Bombay high court that the municipal commissioner has decided to close slaughterhouses for two days for Paryushan Parv. On July 7, on petitions filed by Jain religious trusts, HC had directed BMC to reconsider its move to close them for a day. As the court was rising early due heavy rains, the matter will be heard on Wednesday. tnn
