Skoda Auto India is bringing back one of its most celebrated badges: the Octavia RS. The performance sedan, showcased earlier this year at the Bharat Mobility Expo, will return to Indian roads in limited numbers, with pre-bookings set to go live on October 6, 2025, exclusively through the company’s website. Prices will be announced on October 17, while deliveries are scheduled to begin on November 6.

Skoda Octavia RS: Only 100 units up for grabs

Only 100 units of the Octavia RS will be available this year, each being UK-spec and built in the Czech Republic. Under the hood, the new RS packs a 2.0-litre TSI petrol engine that delivers 265 hp and 370 Nm of torque, paired with a seven-speed DSG gearbox. It can sprint from 0–100 kmph in just 6.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 250 kmph. True to its RS badge, the sedan sits 15 mm lower than the standard Octavia, and features a sports exhaust system. On the design front, the Octavia RS boasts LED Matrix headlights, 18-inch alloys, a sharper body stance, and sporty details across the body work. Inside, the sedan gets bolstered sport seats, a 13-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and more.
