Sirsa reviews progress on winter 2025 air pollution control action plan

New Delhi: Environment minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa held a meeting on Tuesday to evaluate the progress of Winter 2025 Air Pollution Control Action Plan.The meeting, attended by of 30 agencies, focused on 17 key points across various categories. Officials from different departments apprised the minister of the ongoing work.Sirsa stressed on timely execution of the plan. The points included controlling dust pollution from roads and open areas, procuring and deploying mist sprayers and water sprinklers, managing dust at construction and demolition sites, exploring pilot projects for cloud seeding to prevent pollution build-up, controlling open burning and preventing stubble burning. “Our administration is committed to a proactive, round-the-clock effort against air pollution,” said Sirsa.
