Mumbai: Shiv Sena (UBT) will launch its ‘Sindoor Raksha’ movement on Sunday, where thousands of women from Maharashtra will send sindoor from every household to Prime Minister Naresndra Modi. This is to protest against the India-Pakistan cricket match being played in Dubai on Sept 15.“The outcry of the 26 mothers and sisters whose sindoor was wiped away in the Pahalgam attack has not yet ceased. Operation Sindoor, launched to break the backbone of terrorist Pakistan, has not ended. Yet, an India-Pakistan cricket match is being played in Abu Dhabi. The children of BJP ministers will surely go to watch this match. This is outright treason. To protest this betrayal, the Shiv Sena Women’s Wing will hold the ‘Sindoor Raksha’ movement on Sunday. Thousands of women from Maharashtra will send sindoor from every household to Prime Minister Modi. In honour of sindoor, Shiv Sena takes to the field,” Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut said in a post on X.
