Nagpur: NCP (SP) chief Sharad Pawar on Saturday refrained from linking RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat‘s recent statement about retirement with PM Narendra Modi, who will turn 75 this year. Bhagwat had quoted a line from late RSS leader Moropant Pingale, who on his 75th birthday celebration, jovially said, “When a shawl is draped at the age of 75, it means that you have grown old, just move aside, let us do it.“Pawar made no reference to Modi and instead said RSS and its affiliates had a ‘speciality’. Pawar said, “They are very disciplined. If some decision is taken, they try to implement it and follow it. This discipline has been maintained for years now, and I do not feel it will be ignored in future,” he said. — Abhishek Choudhari
