PUNE: In a vibrant display of Rotary fellowship and shared purpose, a joint meeting was held at Hotel Kalasagar on Friday to warmly welcome the participants of the “Chikkamagaluru to Pune Road Safety & Environment Drive.” The car rally, organized by the Rotary Club of Coffeeland, Chikkamagaluru (RI District 3182), was greeted with enthusiasm by the local Rotary community of District 3131, a statement issued by the organisers said.The welcome event was a collaborative effort, jointly organised by the Rotary Club of Pimpri Elite, Rotary Club of Pimpri, and Rotary Club of Bhosari Dynamic. The entire program was seamlessly coordinated by President Rtn. Irrfann Aawate and his RCPE Elite team, alongside President Rtn. Anand Sampath and President Rtn. Dr. Santosh More. The overall arrangements and execution of the meeting were expertly guided by PDG Rtn. Subodh Joshi and CP Rtn. Ravindra Bhave, added the statement.The meeting was graced by the presence of Chief Guest Rtn. Santosh Marathe, District Governor of RI District 3131, and DGN Rtn. Nitin Dhamale. The rally’s focus on environmental conservation resonated deeply with DG Marathe, a known advocate for ecological causes. Sheetal Arjunwadkar and CP Rtn. Ravindra Bhave from the Rotary Club of Pimpri Elite had previously traveled to Chikkamagaluru, undoubtedly helping to forge the strong bonds that made this welcome possible.The visiting delegation from the Rotary Club of Coffeeland, Chikkamagaluru, was led by their President for the 2025-26 term, Rtn. PHF Nagesh Kenjige, and Secretary Rtn. Anand M. The drive itself was spearheaded by Rtn. PHF Nasir Hussain as the Drive Chairman and Rtn.
