Richtech Robotics, Microsoft collaborate to deploy agentic AI in commercial and industrial robots

Richtech Robotics, which develops AI service robots that automate tasks in the hospitality, healthcare, and retail industries, is joining forces with Microsoft through the Microsoft AI Co-Innovation Labs to integrate agentic AI into Richtech’s ADAM robot.

ADAM, powered by NVIDIA AI and computer vision, is a humanoid robot built for hospitality environments. It can interact with customers, remember and prepare drink recipes, and provide reliable, 24/7 service as a bartender, barista, or boba tea maker in bars, arenas, and retail venues.

The partnership aims to make ADAM a smarter, more responsive, and reliable robot that improves performance, customer interactions, and operational efficiency.

The teams will work to apply Azure-powered AI to enable more contextual, conversational, and operationally aware interactions in commercial and industrial environments. Enhanced features allow ADAM to respond to customer preferences, monitor operational conditions, and maintain service quality.

“Our collaboration with Microsoft reflects a shared focus on applying advanced AI to practical, real-world use cases,” said Wayne Huang, Founder and CEO of Richtech Robotics. “By working closely with the Microsoft AI Co-Innovation Labs, our teams were able to jointly develop and deploy intelligent capabilities that strengthen reliability, enhance customer interactions, and support scalable automation across physical environments.”
