Pune: A Pune Zilla Parishad school won the Community Choice award in the World’s Best School prizes by T4 Education, a global educational organisation.Jalindarnagar primary school won the award for the school’s innovation, social impact, and student development, stated a press release issued by the Pune Zilla Parishad.Once on the brink of closure, this ZP school in Khed taluka of Pune district transformed through community participation and is the only Indian govt-run Marathi medium institution selected for the awards. The school is particularly known for its peer learning system, where older and younger students teach each other, making learning more fun and interactive.
