New Delhi: Pushing tighter supervision of govt works, chief minister Rekha Gupta on Thursday directed that all projects costing more than Rs 5 crore must be uploaded and updated within a week on the CM-Pragati portal, enabling direct monitoring from the highest level.Chairing a review meeting with all department heads, CM made it clear that large-value projects would no longer be allowed to drift due to delays or poor coordination. “Every rupee spent must translate into visible results on the ground,” she said, stressing that progress reports must reflect the actual status of the work.The meeting, also attended by chief secretary Rajiv Verma, focused on tracking timelines, removing bottlenecks, and ensuring accountability in high-cost infrastructure and development projects. The departments were instructed to ensure regular and accurate updates to enable corrective action in real time. Gupta also underlined the need for transparency, directing departments to keep citizens informed through public portals. She directed all departments to complete advance planning to avoid any disruption to essential services like water and power supply during summer. TNN
