New Delhi: An assistant professor at GTB Hospital was arrested for allegedly sexually harassing an MBBS student. Police received a PCR call at 12:09 PM on Sept 26, in which a medical student reported that she was sexually harassed.“She informed us that the doctor physically harassed her during a viva exam and inappropriately touched her,” police said. Following her complaint, a case was registered under Sections 74 (assault or use of criminal force to a woman with intent to outrage her modesty), 75 (sexual harassment), and 351 (criminal intimidation) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
