New Delhi: The special cell has found a large quantity of potassium nitrate, a key ingredient for making IEDs, in searches conducted after busting a terror module allegedly planning targeted killings and blasts. Last week, Delhi Police, in coordination with central intelligence agencies, uncovered an ISIS-inspired terror module operating in the capital and arrested five persons.Among them was Danish, a suspect previously detained in Ranchi. Danish was taken back to Ranchi for more searches, during which police found the potassium nitrate, based on information he had provided. The inquiry revealed that the suspects were allegedly planning IED attacks with the goal of establishing an Islamic Caliphate.
