Pune: The Sangvi police on Wednesday detained a minor and arrested his father on the charge of attempting to kill a man over the suspicion of the latter’s relationship with their relative.The victim lodged a complaint with the police.An officer from the Sangvi police said the victim, who is a cab driver, is in a relationship with a married woman. Recently, when the victim was at the woman’s house in Pimple Nilakh, the minor saw him. After that, the minor went to the victim’s house with his friends in Baner, but in vain as the victim was not at home.“The victim on Monday night went to Pimple Nilakh to meet the woman. At this time, the minor and his father assaulted him with sharp weapons. The victim sustained injuries on his head and back in the attack,” the officer said.
