The Qutub Minar lit up in blue and yellow on Saturday evening, marking National Flag Day on the eve of Ukraine’s Independence Day. Appreciating India, Oleksandr Polishchuk, Ambassador of Ukraine, said, “This (the Qutub being lit in Ukraine’s national colours) is another symbol of India’s solidarity with the people of Ukraine, so we are grateful that we have this nice event despite the rain,” adding, “Despite the war, thousands of Ukrainians celebrate this day because we dream of freedom.“
