This time, his latest act as legendary actor Kader Khan has left fans and celebrities equally stunned, with many calling it more than just mimicry; they feel it is almost like watching the real person on screen again.
The performance, which aired during the grand finale of The Great Indian Kapil Show, became one of the most talked-about moments from the episode. From his expressions to voice and timing, everything felt so accurate that people online are calling him “more dangerous than AI.”
Sunil Grover’s Kader Khan Act Leaves Celebs Stunned
In the clip that is now being widely shared, Grover is seen fully transformed into Kader Khan. From the veteran actor’s iconic dialogue delivery to his subtle expressions and comic timing, Grover didn’t just imitate; he became the character.
Actor Varun Dhawan was among the first to react, sharing the clip on Instagram Stories and writing, “It’s not mimicry when you embody the soul.”
Other celebrities couldn’t stop praising him either. Raghav Juyal commented, “Paji you are a legend,” while Harbhajan Singh wrote, “Bhai bhut hi kamal hai Sunil. You are Amazing.”
Ishaan Khatter called it, “Too too good Sunil bhai.”

A user also shared a collage of Grover’s various transformations, including Kader Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, and Ajay Devgn, and asked, “Which character you liked the most played by Sunil Grover?” To this, an individual replied, “Gulzar>Kader Khan>Aamir.”

Meanwhile, one fan shared a humorous video reacting to Grover’s performance, saying, “Sunil bhai aapko na thoda sa limit mein rehne ki zarurat hai. Thoda sa hadd mein rehne ki zarurat hai kyuki hadde cross hoti ja rahi hai (Sunil brother, you need to stay a little within limits. You need to stay within boundaries because you are crossing them).”
Referring to his earlier act as Aamir Khan, he added, “Aamir Khan par baat khatam ho gayi thin a? Aamir aapne kiya tarif ho gayi thi…apne jo ab Kadar Khan wala kar diya hai… aap jab karte ho toh khud bhi dekho ek bar. Aap dekhte nahi, hum dekhte reh jate hai aur hume samjh ni aata hum react kaise kare…ya toh react karna sikhao (We thought it ended with Aamir Khan, right? You were praised for that… but what you’ve done now with Kader Khan… when you perform, at least watch yourself once.
