NCWEB holds special admission drive to fill vacant seats

New Delhi: Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board (NCWEB) of Delhi University will fill its vacant seats through a special admission drive for the academic session 2025–26. A cutoff list for this round was released on Monday. Under this process, candidates who could not secure admission during the previous rounds will get another opportunity. Admissions are open till 11.59pm on Sept 10. All admission-related formalities must be completed by 5pm on Sept 11. Students are required to pay the admission fee by 5 pm on Sept 12. An NCWEB official said that of the 15,200 seats, more than 12,000 were filled. Many seats reserved for OBC and SC categories remained vacant while most seats under the SC and General categories were already taken. At some centres, not a single seat was available. This time, around 17,000 applications were received for admission. NCWEB has a total of 26 affiliated colleges. Classes at these centres are conducted on weekends so that working women get the opportunity to pursue higher education.
