Mumbai: An 18-year-old suffered 45% burn injuries following a blast caused by accumulated LPG gas on a boat at Versova jetty at around 1 pm on Sunday. The injured, Kuldeep Nishad, who was on the boat, has been admitted to Babasaheb Hospital and his condition is said to be stable. Meanwhile, another fire incident was reported from mangroves at Versova near coastal road the same day. According to fire officials, the blaze was minor and was doused immediately.
