Mumbai: Police arrested a 42-year-old woman, who is a housing agent by profession, for allegedly cheating a 48-year-old man by falsely claiming ownership of his two inherited flats in an SRA project and collecting heavy deposits from new occupants without the owner’s knowledge. Complainant Santosh Kamble said the accused, Subhangi Gaikwad, had collected deposits of Rs 5 lakh and Rs 7 lakh separately from two tenants.
