Mumbai minimum temperature drops to 18.4 degrees as cool spell continues

Mumbai: The minimum temperature in Mumbai dropped to 18.4 °C on Monday morning, down from 20.3 °C recorded a day ago on Sunday. IMD forecasts indicate that the city can expect temperatures to dip further in the coming days.On Monday, the IMD Santacruz observatory recorded minimum temperatures of 18.4 °C, which was 0.4 degrees below normal, while the IMD Colaba recorded 22.2 °C, which was 0.5 degrees below normal. The day temperature recorded by the IMD Colaba and Santacruz observatories was hovering around 32-33 °C.In its forecast, the IMD has indicated that the minimum temperature by Wednesday, Dec 10, could dip to 16 °C as well. The day temperature is expected to remain around 33 °C.The dip in temperature marks yet another cool spell of the season for Mumbai, offering some relief from the ongoing warm conditions seen over the past week.
