Pune: Thirty-year-old Ashwini Kedari from Palu village in Khed taluka, who suffered 80% burns after hot water fell on her on Aug 28, succumbed to the injuries on Sept 8. She was undergoing treatment at a hospital in Pimpri Chinchwad. The incident occurred when Kedari was carrying a bucket of hot water to the bathroom when she slipped, and the water spilt on her.Kedari had secured a first rank among girl candidates in the MPSC’s police sub-inspector exam in 2023.
