Pune: A man, identified as Balasaheb Naikwadi (56) of Ahilyanagar district, died after a car driven by his son went off the Nhavare-Chaufula Road in Shirur in the early hours of Wednesday. The father-son duo were driving towards Baramati. In an attempt to save a dog in front of their car, Naikwadi’s son lost control of the vehicle. Naikwadi sustained fatal injuries after he flung out of the car and succumbed during treatment, Shirur police said. TNN
