Man held for running fake airport job racket

New Delhi: A 33-year-old man was arrested for allegedly duping youth by promising lucrative jobs at the airport, police said on Sunday. A complaint was filed by a resident of RK Puram on the NCRP portal. The complainant alleged that he received a call from a man who offered him a job at a flight services company with a salary of Rs 35,000. He was asked to transfer Rs 5,500 via UPI as a registration fee and later Rs 15,000 after receiving an ID card, which was forged. Soon after the payment, the man switched off his phone, DCP (southwest) Amit Goel said. TNN
