Maharashtra IPS officer Suvez Haque moves to Police HQ after deputation

MUMBAI: Senior IPS officer Suvez Haque, who has returned from central deputation and was awaiting posting, has now been appointed as Inspector General of Police (Planning and Coordination), Maharashtra State. The post which was of rank Add Dg has been downgraded to IG rank to accommodate Haque. Haque was the Superintendent (SP) of Pune rural police at the time of Koregaon Bhima violence, which took place in his jurisdiction. Haque was transferred to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Mumbai, from Pune rural police and was sent to France on deputation
