Mumbai: Konkan Railway introduced a Roll-on/Roll-off (Ro-Ro) car transportation service between Kolad (Maharashtra) and Verna (Goa) to ease festive travel during the Ganpati festival.The inaugural run on Saturday saw five cars and 19 passengers making the journey. The train, which departed Kolad at 3.40 pm, had a dedicated AC coach and a second seating coach for passengers, while vehicles were securely loaded on board.
