Pune: Engineering firm Otter India invested around Rs 40 crore (around $4.5 million) in its manufacturing plant in Chakan. The new facility will increase its total production capacity by 75% and generate 1,000 new jobs in the Chakan-Pune industrial hub.The investment will allow the firm to enter the highly specialised electronics manufacturing services and surface mount technology sectors.
