Duleep Trophy Final: Central Zone announce four replacements for clash against South Zone

NEW DELHI: Vidarbha pacer Nachiket Bhute and Madhya Pradesh’s left-arm spinner Kumar Kartikeya Singh were among four replacement players named in the Central Zone squad for the upcoming Duleep Trophy final against South Zone, starting Wednesday in Bengaluru.Go Beyond The Boundary with our YouTube channel. SUBSCRIBE NOW!Bhute comes in as a replacement for his Vidarbha teammate Yash Thakur, while Kartikeya takes the spot of Harsh Dubey. The Central selectors also drafted in Madhya Pradesh pacer Kuldeep Sen and Rajasthan spinner Ajay Singh Kukna, who will replace Khaleel Ahmed and Manav Suthar, respectively.The changes were necessitated after Thakur, Dubey, Khaleel and Suthar were called up to the India A squad for the two unofficial four-day Tests against Australia A in Lucknow, scheduled from September 16–19 and 23–26.The Duleep Trophy final will be played from September 11–15 at the Centre of Excellence Grounds, Bengaluru, with both sides reaching the summit clash in similar fashion.
