NEW DELHI: A few days before a wedding, unidentified thieves looted jewellery and cash worth crores from a residence at B Block in South Delhi’s CR Park on Monday. No arrests were made.The incident occurred while the family was out shopping for their daughter’s wedding, scheduled for June 7.According to the police, the victim, Sunita Gupta, and her family went shopping, only to return and discover their main gate lock broken. Inside, the house was ransacked.Sources said that two men are suspected to be involved in the crime. Sunita reported that approximately 1 kg of gold, 1 kg of silver, and Rs 20 lakh in cash were stolen. The entire burglary was captured on CCTV cameras installed at the premises. Based on her complaint, a case was registered and investigation is underway.
