NEW DELHI: A Delhi-based makeup artist has gone viral after transforming into Annabelle, the haunted doll from The ‘Conjuring’ film series, in a striking Halloween display.A user named Izaa Setia, wearing a white frock, red ribbon, and the doll’s signature braided hairstyle, painted her face ghostly white and used dramatic eye makeup to complete the eerie look. A video shared on Instagram, captioned “Dilli Ki Makeup Artist Bani Annabelle, Sheher Mein Macha Darr Ka Hungama”, shows her interacting with surprised passersby.While some were visibly frightened, others laughed and took selfies with her.Halloween, celebrated on 31 October, originates from the Celtic festival of Samhain, when it was believed the boundary between the living and the dead blurred.
