New Delhi: A head constable of Delhi Police, Rinku Tewatia, was arrested after a bomb threat he allegedly reported aboard Delhi-Patna Rajdhani Express was found to be a hoax. Tewatia had made the call to implicate some people from his village due to a long-standing personal feud, investigators claimed.Tewatia, who was earlier posted at Dayalpur police station, was recently transferred to Rohini district and has been suspended since the incident. The call had caused significant disruption as the train was halted at Aligarh in Uttar Pradesh. No suspicious object was found in an extensive search by the bomb disposal squad and local authorities, and the train was cleared to continue its journey.By naming his rivals during the threat call and using a SIM card issued in the name of one of them, Tewatia had hoped to get them detained, said police. But the cops traced the call back to him. tnn
