New Delhi: A brawl broke out at Tis Hazari court on Saturday, during which an elderly woman and her two children were reportedly manhandled. Two FIRs were registered based on complaints from lawyers alleging abuse and snatching. Upon reaching the court, a police team found a group of advocates manhandling several individuals. Both parties were taken to the police station. During the investigation, it was revealed that a 70-year-old woman came to the court with her son (42) and daughter (40) for a hearing. Their proxy lawyer was present. When the son requested the case file, the lawyer refused, leading to a scuffle. Other advocates then intervened and reportedly manhandled the woman and her family. The incident, which was captured on video, showed the elderly woman being pulled and a man being beaten. The police received two complaints from lawyers. The proxy lawyer alleged that he was abused and manhandled by the son, while another advocate claimed that she was abused, assaulted and had her gold chain snatched when she tried to intervene. Two FIRs were registered at Subzi Mandi police station.
