Mumbai: A speeding BMW car rammed into the coastal road tunnel wall, bringing the traffic to a halt for a brief period after the accident. No one was injured in the accident that took place near Tardeo while the car was moving southbound. The accident took place Tuesday night.City traffic police had alerted the citizens on its X handle about the traffic caused by the accident, later saying in another post the traffic was cleared. A towing van was called to remove the BMW. Earlier, on March 22, a BMW had crashed into the barriers on the bow-string arch bridge connecting the coastal road and the Bandra-Worli Sea Link, and had overturned, injuring the driver and the two passengers.
