Mumbai: Static and videography surveillance squads as well as flying quads have been set up to help conduct the BMC elections and to ensure strict and effective implementation of the model code of conduct. According to a civic release, municipal commissioner and district election officer Bhushan Gagarani directed the squads, which have been set up ward wise, to maintain constant vigilance to ensure the model code of conduct is adhered to, and take immediate action as per rules in case of any violation. tnn
