Aggregator bike rider found stabbed to death in Rohini

New Delhi: A 30-year-old motorcycle rider working with an aggregator service was allegedly stabbed to death in sector 26, Rohini, on Tuesday. The victim, identified as Rajjab Khan, was a resident of Rajiv Garden, Ghaziabad. According to police, a PCR call was received at KNK Marg police station around 6.15 am, reporting an accident near the sector 26 crematorium. The caller said a man was lying on the road in a pool of blood and requested an ambulance. Upon reaching the location, police found a man lying dead on the road with multiple stab wounds, said a senior police officer. “A motorcycle was found parked nearby, while another two-wheeler had fallen into a roadside drain. Skid marks were also visible on the road,” the officer added. Rajjab’s family told police that he had left home around 2 am for a late-night pickup scheduled by a customer. Crime and forensic teams were called to the scene. Police said they are probing whether the attack on Rajjab was due to a road rage incident or a targeted attack due to previous enmity. A case has been registered. “We are looking at CCTV footage and questioning local residents to trace the sequence of events,” the officer said. The body has been sent for post-mortem, and further investigation is on.
